Game Boy

FAQ

Can I play NES games in the browser?

Yes. NES through Mega Drive use EmulatorJS from GitHub (fceumm, snes9x, gambatte, mGBA, Genesis Plus GX). Cores are on S3. Flash opens a SWF with Ruffle. Touch controls work on phones.

Do you host Super Mario or Contra ROMs?

No commercial dumps. Those pages have cheats and walkthroughs; you load a ROM you own. Shiru freeware (Alter Ego, Lawn Mower) starts without a file.

How do cheat codes work?

Each game page lists Game Genie / Gameshark-style codes. After the ROM boots, paste them in the emulator cheat menu. Codes depend on the dump version.

Does the ROM get uploaded?

No. A local file is read in this tab and handed to the emulator. Homebrew we may redistribute is fetched from our S3 bucket.

Which consoles work on a phone?

NES, GB, GBC, and most GBA / Mega Drive titles. SNES is heavier. Flash plays a SWF you choose, with touch treated as the mouse. Landscape plus a Bluetooth pad helps fighters and karts.
