How to open a SWF in the browser

Press Choose SWF and pick a .swf file. If the player is empty, it asks you to upload one. The file stays in this tab.
One file
This page runs a SWF that can start on its own. Games that load more SWFs, XML, or their old website stop on the loader.
Mouse
Most Flash games use the left mouse button. A tap on a phone is a click. Arrow keys work when the game expects a keyboard.
Sound
Browsers block autoplay audio. Click the picture once and the sound starts.
Your file
Commercial Flash games are not hosted here. Use a SWF you already have. Only titles with a redistribution license will be added to the list.

Can I play Flash games in the browser?
Yes. This page runs SWF files with Ruffle, an open-source Flash emulator. You do not install Adobe Flash Player.
What if there is no game file?
The player says to upload one. Choose a SWF. The file stays in this tab and is not sent to a server.
Why does a SWF fail to start?
Many games are more than one file, or they only run on the original website. This page is for a single SWF that can run alone. Some ActionScript 3 games are still incomplete.
Does Flash work on a phone?
It opens. Touch is treated as the mouse. Games that need hover or a keyboard are easier on a computer.
Can I download classic Flash games here?
No. Use a SWF you already have. cv.cm will only host a SWF when its license allows redistribution.
