How to use this tool

Count anything with big buttons or the keyboard. Counts are kept in this browser.

Open Tally counter
One counter starts at 0. Give it a name if you like.
Count
Press + to add and − to subtract, or use Space, ↑ and ↓ on the keyboard.
Add more counters
Press Add counter to count several things at once; the total of all counters is shown underneath.

How do I count?

Press + or − on a counter, or use the keyboard: Space, ↑ or + adds, ↓ or − subtracts on the highlighted counter.

Can I use several counters?

Yes. Add up to 12 counters, give each a name and see the total of all of them.

Can I count by more than one?

Set the step (1–1000). Each press then adds or subtracts that amount.

Are my counts saved?

Yes, in this browser only (local storage). They come back when you reopen the page; private windows may forget them.

Can the count go below zero?

Only if you tick “Allow negative numbers”. Otherwise counters stop at 0.
