Numbers are shown in your language, but the CSV files keep raw values and ISO codes, so they open cleanly in Excel, Google Sheets or code.
FAQ
Where does this data come from?
Country statistics are from the World Bank World Development Indicators. Country, currency and dialing codes follow ISO 3166, ISO 4217 and the ITU list. Time zones are from the IANA tz database. Paper sizes follow ISO 216, ISO 269, JIS P 0138 and ANSI.
Can I use these tables for free?
Yes. World Bank data is licensed CC BY 4.0, so credit the World Bank when you reuse it. Codes and reference tables are public facts you can reuse freely.
How current are the numbers?
Each page shows the date of its snapshot and the year of every value. The World Bank publishes most indicators a year or two after the fact, so a country's latest value can be from an earlier year.
