How to remove EXIF / location from a photo
Phones store GPS in the file. A listing or a chat can leak your address. You will export a clean copy in this tab and keep the original if you still need the map pin.
Open the EXIF tool when the photo is on disk. Re-encoding in this tab strips metadata. Screenshots often have none to begin with.

Check whether the file even has GPS
The tool shows if it is tagged. Screenshots and many chat exports already have none.
Photo file = pixels + GPS. Export = pixels only. Open the EXIF tool on cv.cm
Work stays in this tab. Nothing is uploaded.
Open EXIF removerDrop the photo
If it shows a location, that is the pin you are about to strip.
Export JPEG or PNG
The canvas write does not copy EXIF. Keep the original if you still want the pin for yourself.
Drop the export back into the same tool
The second pass should show no location. If it still shows GPS, you opened the original by mistake.
Send the clean copy, keep the original if you need the pin
A chat app may strip GPS on its own. Do not trust that for a public listing — prove it with the second drop.
Drop, export, drop the export again. The second pass should be clean.
