How to read a cron expression
You have a five-field cron expression. You will read what each field names in this tab. The order is minute, hour, day of month, month, weekday. 0 9 * * 1 is minute 0, hour 9, every day of the month, every month, and Monday. The page describes the fields. It does not start the job.
Open cron when the expression is in front of you. Use numbers, stars, commas, and ranges. Words such as MON fail. Nothing is uploaded.

Count five fields, in order
The fields are minute, hour, day of month, month, and weekday. 0 9 * * 1 is minute 0, hour 9, every day of the month, every month, and Monday. A star means every value in that field.

*/15 9-17 * * 1-5 is every 15 minutes, hours 9 through 17, every day of the month, every month, and Monday through Friday. 9-17 includes both 9 and 17. 1-5 is Monday through Friday.
Remember that Sunday is 0 and 7
Weekday 1 is Monday. Weekday 0 and weekday 7 both come out as Sunday. The word MON fails. Type 1 for Monday.
Sunday is 0 and 7. MON fails. Six fields fail. Reject a minute of 60 and a sixth field
Minutes run from 0 to 59. Hours run from 0 to 23. Days run from 1 to 31. Months run from 1 to 12. Weekdays run from 0 to 7. 60 * * * * fails. 0 9 * * * * has six fields and fails. There is no seconds field.
Read the description, then leave the job unrun
The line is in English: minute, hour, day-of-month, and names such as monday. When both the day of the month and the weekday are restricted, this page still names both. It does not choose between them, and it does not run anything.
FAQ
Can I read a cron expression free online?

What does 0 9 * * 1 mean?
Minute 0, hour 9, every day of the month, every month, and Monday.
Which number is Sunday?
0 and 7. Monday is 1. The word MON fails.
Why did a six-field expression fail?

No. Closing the tab discards it. The page does not run the schedule.
