How to count days between two dates
You need the calendar gap, not the weekday count. You will pick two civil dates in this tab. The same day is 0. Monday through Friday of one week is 4, because Friday is four midnights after Monday.
Open days between dates when you have two YYYY-MM-DD dates. This page does not skip weekends. Nothing is uploaded.

Decide gap or inclusive count
A hotel night from Monday to Friday is 4. A form that says “including both dates” wants 5. This page is the 4. The business-day page is a different count: it includes both ends and skips Saturday and Sunday.
Mon 5 Jan to Fri 9 Jan 2026 is 4 days. Both ends are not included. Open days between dates on cv.cm
The count stays in this tab.
Open Days between datesPick the start and the end
Use calendar dates, not clock times. If the end is before the start, the signed count is negative. The absolute line stays zero or positive.
Read signed days, absolute days, and whole weeks
Whole weeks drop the leftover. 10 days is 1 whole week. 4 days is 0 whole weeks. Copy all three lines, then use the one the form named.
Count the leap day when it sits in the gap
28 February 2024 to 1 March 2024 is 2 days, because 29 February is in the gap. 28 February 2023 to 1 March 2023 is 1 day.
28 Feb 2024 to 1 Mar 2024 is 2 days. The leap day is in the gap. Leave weekends in this count
Saturday and Sunday are ordinary calendar days here. If the form wants Monday through Friday only, use the business-day page and remember that page includes both ends.
