How to count business days
You need the weekdays in a span. You will pick two dates in this tab and read the business-day number. Saturdays and Sundays are the only days left out. A public holiday on Wednesday still counts.

Monday 5 January 2026 through Friday 9 January 2026 is five business days. Friday through the next Monday is two, because Saturday and Sunday sit in the middle.

Use the calendar dates on the form. If the end is before the start, the business-day number is negative. The weekend count stays zero or positive.
Read business days and weekend days
Business days are Monday through Friday. Weekend days are the Saturdays and Sundays inside the same inclusive span.
Leave holidays in the count
A holiday on Wednesday is still a business day here. If the form skips holidays, subtract those dates after you copy the number.
Weekends drop out. A Wednesday holiday stays in the count. Copy and match the form
A same-day weekday is 1. A same-day Saturday or Sunday is 0. This page includes both ends. A plain day difference of the same dates is one smaller when the span is positive.

Can I count business days free online?
Yes. cv.cm counts Monday through Friday in this tab, including both dates. Nothing is uploaded.
Are public holidays skipped?
No. Only Saturdays and Sundays are left out. Subtract a Wednesday holiday yourself if the form requires it.
Does the count include both dates?
Yes. A weekday that is both the start and the end counts as 1. A Saturday or Sunday that is both counts as 0.
What if the end is before the start?
The business-day number is negative. The weekend count stays zero or positive.
Is this uploaded?
No. Closing the tab discards it.
