How to convert a number between bases
You have one integer in one base and you need another base. You will set both bases in this tab. This page does not turn letters into groups of 8 bits, and it does not accept a 0x prefix.
Open the base converter when the integer and both bases are known. Bases are 2 through 36. Nothing is uploaded.

Write the integer without a prefix
255 is a decimal integer. FF is hex. 11111111 is binary. Do not type 0x, 0b, or a dot. A fraction is a different job.
Bases 2–36. 255 decimal is FF hex. No 0x and no dot. Open the base converter on cv.cm
Conversion stays in this tab.
Open Base converterSet the source base and the destination base
Bases run from 2 to 36. Decimal to hex is 10 and 16. A digit must exist in the source base, so 2 is not a binary digit.
Paste the integer
A leading plus or minus is allowed. Letters may be upper or lower on input. The body can be at most 64 digits.
Read the uppercase result
255 in base 10 is FF in base 16, and 11111111 in base 2. Zero stays 0. Copy is that integer, not a 0x prefix.
Keep this separate from text-to-binary
A word such as hi is not an integer in base 16 unless every letter fits that base. The binary tool turns letters into 8-bit groups. This page converts one integer.
Output letters are uppercase. This page converts one integer.
