攻略

Battle City / 90 Tank: protect the eagle, clear each stage's tanks. Flash tanks drop power-ups. 35 stages is a loop/clear depending on the dump.

  1. Rules and the eagle

    Rules and the eagle

    You spawn at the bottom. If the eagle is shot, you lose. Shots break and rebuild brick. Steel needs a starred tank. Trees hide, ice slides, water blocks.

    Enemies spawn from the top. Clear the quota (usually 20) to finish the stage.

  2. Power-ups

    Star (shot power, steel at level 3), grenade (screen clear), shovel (steel eagle wall), tank (life), clock (freeze), helmet (brief armor). Shovel and star first. Do not tunnel into your own base.

  3. Stages 1–10

    Stages 1–10

    Brick-heavy. Patch the eagle wall immediately. One player guards, one hunts. Focus flashing tanks for stars.

  4. Stages 11–20

    More steel and trees. Enemies flank the eagle. Eat the clock only when surrounded.

  5. Stages 21–35

    Faster, thicker tanks. Leave a path home. Some maps are almost all steel — you need stars. Stage 35 is the clear.

  6. How runs die

    You open the eagle wall yourself; two reds sneak home while you hunt; ice slides you into steel. Grenade before a breach.

Infinite lives, stage select, armor, and freeze are listed above. 90 Tank Chinese hacks may need different codes.

Is this 90 Tank?

Battle City is the NES/FC game behind many 90 Tank carts. Gameplay is the same idea: tanks, bricks, eagle.

Can I play FC tanks on my phone?

Yes. Virtual pad aims with the D-pad and fires with A/B. Landscape is easier.

How do I protect the base?

Repair brick over the eagle, pick shovel power-ups, and do not tunnel a hole toward your own base.

Is the ROM included?

Not the commercial game. Load your .nes file. It stays in this tab.
